    Hey,

Eventhough I don't dress in the emo fashion I do love the hair. Have asked a number of times now to do a emo hair style but keep my lenth, you know thick and choppy on top and then long underneath. But EVERYTIME they cut it way too short at the top and cut off most of all my hair that i have spent a couple of years growing and I end up with a mullet!!!

I want to give it another try and I see girls with great emo hair around town. Does anyone know where this phantom emo-tastic hairdresser can be found?:(

Why not just print off a picture of what you want and show them?

I did I had four pics of simlar hair to give the hair dresser an idea, but she just obviously had no idea what I wanted and did her rendition of it.

It happened a couple of times, i dunno if it's just hair dressers don't like me and just insist on doing their version of what they think my hair should look like.

    :(

    sigh

Sam's Barber Rooms on Lower Ormond Quay would be a good place too.

bear in mind that emo hair involves styling too, its not just about the cut. Lots of hair products and blowdrying as well has short layers. Have a look at the links half way down this page: http://community.livejournal.com/madradhair/profile :)

theres a savage place in georges street arcade called oslo or something. Its the first place i've gone to where they did exactly what i asked. While cutting it the girl told me about certain factors that she might have to take into consideration as they came along and we worked around it and got it how i wanted it.

Dont think ill go anywhere else now tbh
