If you can't beat 'em...join 'em!

Our full time unit is about to open next week, based in Cabra, Dublin 7 - Synergy Martial Arts and fitness centre will be a 2000sq foot plus training area which will accomodate mainly my own clubs of Taekwon-Do and Kickboxing. However on the other nights we're opening it up to other styles who would like to rent the space. We're open to any styles but we have exceptions.. No MMA, BJJ or Muay Thai....wait for it, calm down, KO Martial Arts is around the corner and we're good neighbours, so no point in doubling up on something thats already there.
At present we have a classical Jiujutsu teacher, Ninjutsu and Traditional Shaolin King Fu guy interested and more or less signed up. We have a few hours spare and I personally would like some Tai Chi there, but as I said we're open to suggestion.
So if any one out there is interested, drop me a PM.

Also anyone interested in serving one or two days providing accupuncture or an alternative therapy we also have a room for that, again if you're interested, drop me a PM.

To finish, thanks to all those who've gone before me, I've watched and studied you all ;)
I suppose there's no time like the present :)

Jon, I hope my mistakes guide you well :D

The very best of luck with it. The first few months are a bit like going on the ghost train. Just as you think you're coasting BOO! out jumps the water rates guy. But there's nothing like having a place of your own.

Best of luck dude. Best advice I can give you is spend nothing, every pound you spend now is one euro thirty you will have to make form future students before you put any in your pocket.

Thanks Mark, I know what you mean. Unfortunately the plalce was just an empty shell when we got it, so a few bob has gone into, but to be honest it was a labour of love!

    Hey Jon,

That empty shell had loads of potential though - you could see that even when you showed it to myself and Lee (the early days). ;)

Can't wait to see it! I'd say it will be a top class joint when you have everything finished. :) Plenty of space there too...

    Cheers,

    R.
