It was a good album, if not exactly what I'd term Hip-Hop.

Shame about the rest of his work.

I prefered A Grand Don't Come For Free. I would call it Hip-Hop, I mean it's not garage and it's not grime.

But isn't Grime just a sub-genre of hiphop really?

    I mean, it's rap ffs.

It might be just me but does nobody rate T.I ---->

    King
    TI vs TIP

King of tha South kills both these albums which include huge tracks such as:
    • What you know about that
    • Big **** Poppin
    • Hurt
    • Dope Man
    • Top Back
    • You Know What it is
These tracks just for example. Paper Trail is also quite recent but has some big tracks on it also....On Top of The World, Swing Ya Rag, Swagger Like Us!

I also gotta mention Tha Carter III, Its a love it or hate it album, I think its a masterpiece.

Other albums for me over the Last few years....
Game - Documentary, Doctors Advocate. Kanye West - All 3. - Get Rich or Die Tryin, DMX- The Great Depression, And Then There Was X, Grand Champ.

Illmatic came out in '94 there G.

The Streets make electronic/dance music as far as I am concerned, and I wouldn't call what Mike Skinner does rapping. Or singing for that matter.

That sample from Paper Planes wrecks my head.

I don't think it's a love it or hate it album, there's 4 or 5 good tracks on it and then the rest is pretty forgettable.
