    Hi

I'm just wondering if anybody has purchased a Futura Pellets Boiler with a Scotte Burner and control unit. If so what do you think of the system and have you had any problems? I bought off a crowd called Renewit in Castlerea who have stopped selling pellet boilers. Does anybody know if the Scotte control unit can be interfaced with a thermostat for inside the house.

Hi Mav - I also have one of these boilers and have had endless problems. Have you managed to get a service engineer who can help with problems. I have spent months looking for help.

    hi colga,

not been on for a while. I've located a guy who has excellent knowledge of these boilers. What kind of trouble have you had? Who installed your boiler and when did you get it. I know quite a bit about it now and might be able to help. let me know!!!!

    regards

Thanks Mav - I have also found an excellent engineer from Kildare (I think) It was a delight to find someone who knew what he was doing. (had many many people look at it) I had endless problems with it and he sorted it all out and it has been working like a dream since.

I got mine from Re-newit in Roscommon but they have gone out of business.

Again thanks for coming back to me.

Hi colga, glad to hear you're sorted. Do you have a 24kw boiler? What kind of performance are you getting from the boiler. Does it ever go into pause mode when heating is on or is it always modulating up and down between 100% and 20%. I reckon I had the same engineer. Knew his stuff

    Regards. Mav
