D300 firmware update

There is a firmware update available for the D300 (follow the linky) There don't appear to be any standout features on the new update that I can see just yet, just some additional custom options and minor glitches sorted out. Still, may as well have it than not :D.

On that point, has anyone had a bad experience from an update?

Am I being naive blindly trusting the company, without waiting to see the general reaction to these updates?

didn't notice any change so far but I haven't shoot much
no issues
