    Hey all,

I have a local network of pcs connected to internet via a DSL modem. I'd like to be able to implement a filter so that the PC's can only access certain sites. The modem (Bt Voyager 2110) doesn't appear to have any method of filtering sites, so I'm wondering what my other options are?

    Any ideas? Freeware is preferable.

Use an old pc you have lying around as a proxy server?

You could use safesquid or untangle as the server software

    NetFort LANGuardian might be handy.

OpenDNS? Setup a dns updater and use the custom DNS settings.
