Does anyone know if there's any shop around town that would sell an Indiana Jones style whip? Need it for costume...
Was thinking sex-shops but surely they don't sell those type of whips?

"Mr Gear" sells all types of cowboy/leather stuff ,
I'm almost positive I've seen whips in there
They're located on the corner of Marlborough Street and North Earl Street

smyths would probably have some kind of cheap imitation. i imagine a real one costs a small fortune

As far as I know, Mr. Gear has closed down.

Smyths or Forbidden Planet would probably be your best bet, look for Indy merchandise.

Mr Gear is gone. Maybe try a horseriding shop?

Thanks guys, I'll probably try smyths so. It really hinges on the whip - otherwise it looks remarkably like a cowboy!

Any of the sex shops should have them. There is a couple on South William st. below the main shops, another one on Capel st. It won't be cheap though.

they use lunging whips. long sticks with really fine whip at the end. indy would look pretty stupid with one of those, but would be brilliant for comedy value and conversation starters :D
