Thanks for the info Neo. Documentury about Taylor follows that. Here is a discription of that show.

    Quote:
Profiling the brilliant career of darts maestro Phil Taylor, regarded by followers as the game's greatest ever player, and who won the World Championship no less than 13 times. The programme provides an insight into his life, including the truth behind his love of Stoke, the secrets of his technique, and the influence of a mother who told him second was nowhere

Thought thursday evening would be boring as ever. Thank God:)

    Mark Walsh 6-4 Colin Osborne
    Mervyn King 6-4 Wayne Jones
    Carlos Rodriguez 7-5 Terry Jenkins
    Wayne Mardle 5-0 Andree Welge
    Phil Taylor 5-1 Jacko Barry
    Robert Thornton 5-3 John Part
    Mensur Suljovic 5-1 Roland Scholten
Ronnie Baxter 6-4 Vincent van der Voort

Some good games tonight, with good comebacks from Walsh, King and Baxter. Scholten never showed up due to shoulder problems and Taylor came out of the blocks quick against Barry. Close game with Thornton and Part. Part will have to up his game alot if he wants a good run in the GSOD and the World Championships.

    Tomorrows matches:

    Andy Hamilton v Denis Ovens
Dennis Priestley v Jan van der Rassel
    Adrian Lewis v Hannes Schnier
    Colin Lloyd v Jelle Klaasen
    Raymond Barneveld v Andy Jenkins
    James Wade v Alex Roy
    Alan Tabern v Chris Mason
    Peter Manley v Kevin Painter

Taylor wins the tournament by beating Lewis 11-5 in the final. Taylor averaged over 113 in two of his matches, the man just keeps on getting better, Lewis had a 108 average in hammering Barney and Thornton had a very good tournament reaching the semi-finals and moving closer to the top 32.

I didn't get to see any of the darts but it sounds like it was a decent tournament.
