    Not sure I ever heard of these before, I suppose they are the brits equivilent to the US independent spirit awards.

    Anyway, In bruges and Hunger and The Boy in the striped PJs have all picked up plenty of nominations. Could this be the first of many recognitions for Brendan Gleeson (buzz is generating about his performance of Winston churchill in the upcoming 'Into the storm' which may just about get out before xmas in the states.)
