    Hi folks,

Any idea where I'd find a pair of tights with the seam up the back? I've found stockings like this but I think I'd be a lot more comfortable in tights, any ideas?

Topshop by Stephen's Green had them when I was there a few weeks ago. They're on their site too. Only in black or red fishnet though, not opaque :(

I got a pair a couple of years ago in either Penneys or Dunnes, might be worth trying one of those.

Arnotts do Wolford ones, they are quality. Got a pair free at an event a few weeks ago. They are my posh tights! :p

I got a pair in Oasis the other day, they're deadly! Really fine though!

m&s and River Island have them, dont waste your money in pennys. they are terrible quality.. whats the point in paying €5 for a pair you will only wear once when you could pay a few extra euros for a pair you will wear at least three times.

nothing worse than having them on only 10mins and having a rip!!

Stain your legs with tea and draw on the seam with eyeliner.

There is a recession on after all...

I bought a really nice comfy pair in M&S the other day.

I second the Wolfords suggestion. You can get them in lots of colours and are available in Brown Thomas and a little shoe shop in the Hibernian Mall called Cocobell.
They are expensive €40 or so per pair but last and last and last. I wear skirts and tights a lot during the winter and usually snag my tights on the first day of wearing them. I bought 3 pairs of Wolfords last winter and they are still in perfect condition.

They have really funky opaque ones in topshop at the moment; one with a cream seam, and one with a red.....they lookd great. I have seen brands like Aristoc and Pretyy polly offering seamed tights within their ranges also. I'm sure if you went to BTs or Arnotts you'd find a few different offerings from various brands.

Nevermind Wolford....Fogal tights are simply divine.....best stockings ever!!!

Topshop have great tights at the min but I saw Dita Von Teese on This Morning saying that if you're stuck for those kind of tights, just draw a line up the back of your legs (obviously get someone else or it won't be straight!) apparently they used to do that in the War! :D
