PC Turn On Problem

Hi all, my first post and looking for help/advice.

When I turn on my desktop PC it will often try to start and run for a few seconds and then cut out. It can do this any number of times, normally less than 10, and then eventually it will start and boot up properly.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

    Hi man,

It might be your fan doesn't work correctly due to it's dust-covered.

Can you check this suggestion ?

Open the case, unplug the power leads from the board, HDD etc. blow on them to get rid of any dust, check the data cables as well, they all can come lose over time, it's surprising how often this will solve a problem like yours! Make sure you are earthed before doing any of the above.
