Just when you think you've seen it all, a Spar truck driver decides that the middle of rush hour would be a good time to cross two lanes of traffic (including one going the other way) and park on the side of of the one of the narrowest, busiest streets in the city centre so he can do his deliveries. Of course he's completely oblivious to the fact that within minutes he has brought the traffic all the way from O'Connell St to Stephens Green to a complete standstill.

Medieval corporal punishments aren't good enough for people like him.

If only we had some form of legal enforcement service. Some people who'd get off their a$$es and actually tell people like this to move on, not allow it, enforce punishments, etc. until people learned not to do things like this.

What did the authorities say when you reported him?

AFAIR isn't there a theoretical delivery window imposed by the council on deliveries to that area ; for example Grafton st is full of delivery trucks until 10am or so ... wouldn't be too difficult for culprit to part beside EBS a.

There is a loading bay outside of the Porterhouse and behind the Grafton Street taxi rank; they may however have been blocked or used by others deliveries. Nonetheless, sounds like a shocking place to pull over.
