Does anyone know a good marketing firm to give me advice and also to market my computer recycling company? Preferably in the Dublin area.
I need advice as to how best to get the name out, the best forms of advertisement etc.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

It will cost you money to get your name out there...

Do you have any capital in the business as of now?

i have an allocated amount available to spend on marketing, somewhere between 2k to 5k, which can increase as time goes on?
What firms do you recommend? And what fees would they charge.

That money would be eaten up by a large marketing firm very quickly so preferably go with a smaller firm/practice.

Would you consider investing in a marketing book of some sort and read up on the topic as an alternative to employing an agencys services?...

Due to the fact that you have so little capital to spend it is likely that whatever marketing firm you work with will in the end just send out random mailshots to companies/people they think may be interested in your service/product...really its just pot luck in regards of whether you choose a marketing firm which is unsuccesfull or successfull.

Is this a start up venture?

I am a student in a marketing degree course myself....If you like you can send me a pm with all company details and i will draw you up a marketing plan and make recomendations or discuss you options in a report for a nominal fee.

    Contact your local enterprise board.

Say you are starting up a new business and would like a mentor, to help you, the main area you need help is in the marketing side. (don't say you want a cheap marketing consultant).
They should provide you with a mentor who can help you for free, or a small fee.
    Here's some tips

1: Nail down who exactly are your idea customers, small companies, big companies, home users.

2: What are the benefits of your service.

3: What makes you better/different from the competition.

1:1 Who exactly is the person in the company you need to reach with your message.
1:2 Find out what is the best way to communicate with this person
