Domiciilary care is a payment you get if you have a child with disabillity it is payable until the child is sixteen. Then the child has to qualify for the disability allowance. The domicillary payment is paid to you by your local hse office. The best place for advice is the citizen advice website just google citizen advice.if you need any advice you can p.m me we have been down this road ourselves

Also if your child is over 16 and you are looking after him, you should apply for a carers allowance or respite care grant! If you need more info pm me!

the domicillary care allowance is being taken over by the social welfare, it will no longer be a HSE payment, this means it will be means tested in the next budget in my opinion.
