    Hi all

Has anyone been to Malta in Novemeber and if yes, what kind of weather could we expect?
We are going by the Ryanair route into Luqa. Has anyone done this route and could offer any advice on the island itself and things to do and places to avoid.

    thank you in advance

was there in first week of february and the weather was glorious (sunny every day and 18-19 degrees), i assume november will be similiar though i hear they get some rain in nov-dec-jan so you may be unlucky with that

i flew in and out of Luqa with ryanair, no problems grand flight. the buses from the airport do go all over the country so it takes ages to get to valletta from the airport despite being only 6-7 miles away :(

st julians for nightlife, valletta is pretty dead after 6pm, golden bay for beach though its a trek by bus from valletta but worth it

Thats brilliant, thanks! Would you think it would be better to rent a car for the few days to fully tour the island or are there plenty of regular buses to the whole island?

if you are staying in valletta (the bus hub) then you can visit most tourist spots by bus very cheaply, buses are frequent but extremely slow, still malta is a small island so you can easily see two or three tourist spots in a day, bus homepage http://www.atp.com.mt/atp/servlet/ControllerServlet?action=loadUserPage&userPageName=mainPage

there are other islands apart from the main island, gozo and comino being the next largest, you should set yourself a day each to see both
