    Entourage movie planned

Actor Mark Wahlberg is planning to bring his cult TV series 'Entourage' to the big screen.

'The Happening' star, who is an executive producer on 'Entourage', has reportedly been inspired to make a movie version of the show by the huge success of 'Sex and the City: The Movie'.

Entourage is based on Wahlberg's early years in Hollywood.

Speaking to Moviefone.com, he said: "We're doing season five right now. We're hoping for maybe three (or) four more seasons, and then maybe a film or two.

"Obviously the 'Sex and the City' success has opened up a window of opportunity there."

The news comes after 'Entourage' star Adrian Grenier said that he would like to commit to the series for another 10 years.

I know the article is from a while back but was just wondering what people's thoughts would be? Would it work?

I cant see them getting 3 or 4 more seasons and a couple of movie's
well not of the quality of previous series
I think its starting get a bit flabby round the edges already
Dont actually see a movie in it!?

If they want to turn it into sex and the city (quality wise) however, they could probably get 6 or 7 more series and about 5 movies :p

How about making Aquaman for real instead? On Entourage it is supposed to be the highest grossing film ever.

I could see it working as the bow out for the show.

TBH though, I think Entourage has a lot of miles left in it. Alot of the show is very reliant on pop cyulture, and what's happening now. In that sense, it is self fulfilling. I think the show will come to an end when Piven wants to move on. He is the stand out star of the show, and the actor who already is a bonafide movie star. IMO, the show can't work without him.

I would imagine that there would be a que of A-listers looking for any role, no matter how small, in the movie version.
