There is definitely a league in Limerick. My wife used to play in a club Called Mungret Saint Pauls in Limerick. I know they play somewhere near Mary Immaculate College, in a school hall. I'm sorry but I don't know Limerick very well so I don't know the school name or even the exact street its on!

I think there was another club sharing this hall (one played Mondays & Wednesdays and the other on Tuesdays and Thursdays).

There is also another club (I think they are called Shuttle Club) who play in a school hall on Sexton street (Roxborough road end).

I hope this helps. If you want I'll ask herself for more details or she might even have a contact number for someone in the club!

A list of Limerick clubs and their contact details is here:

This year's league has already started, might be too late to register for a team. Most clubs have nights for social badminton though. Think Mungret and Analog are out the Dooradoyle end of town.

Looks like Mungret St Pauls have moved hall according to the link posted above!

Leagues have already started but its usually possible to add a player to a team or a panel provided that panel is not already full!

If you're out in Dooradoyle then the Shuttle or Mungret would be most convienent for you, they play either on Mon&Wed or Tue&Thu, not sure..

The Shuttle plays their badminton in the CBS hall on Upper William St. and Mungret plays in the Presentation hall which is literally a minute walk from the CBS hall.

Yes I'm afraid it's too late to register for the 08/09 Limerick League but there will be other Munster competitions held throughout the season. They will be invididual event opened to everyone playing in Munster.

You can find out about the events on http://www.munsterbadminton.org/.
