    afaik it can be jailbroken but not unlocked. It's easier to spend a bit extra and buy off eBay legally unlocked, which is what I did. You'll spend about €600, which is a lot less then the contract will have you pay over 18 months

    its out on PAYG with o2 today....
    oh, i'm on about the iPhone 3g btw, sorry.......
