    CLIP SHOW!!!!!

i am well pissed off, ive been avoiding spoilers but i just knew the premise for this episode was that they where brought before an alliance of pegasus galaxy worlds for trial and i was expecting a wopper episode to set up the rest of the season where we get intoruced to some of the other advanced races in the galaxy and it would be great but alas i got a clip show.

although i will say watching it in full HD those few flashback action scenes all looked wopper i was really impressed by the detail on the replicator nanites as they where pulled down to the planet, i could make out every single grain while in the previous versiuons of that episode it looked kinda clowdy mist

    WTF was that?
filler episodes make baby jesus cry. :(

most notable part of the episode was when
woolsey (the doctor :)) mentioned a "federation"

not that it was really worth adding spoiler tags because this is absolutely nothing new, it reminded me of Picard's trial before Q accept Q was a much better actor.

It was something good to change the channel to. You think GAH CLIP SHOW DIEEE but then you remember unlike the Simpsons, Stargate Clip Shows actually add a sprinkle of substance in them. Woolsey did good.

Oh dear. More like extended highlights than a clips episode. Never fast-forwarded as much during any Stargate episode. :( Extremely poor overall tbh. Yet again Woolsey shone, although even here IMO he couldn't ride to the rescue.
Absurd court set-up and not helped by the lousy acting.

    A clip show.

I should have realised when I saw the title. Just a touch better than shades of gray. That's two meh episodes in a row. Losing momentum.

I thought last week was bad and that it couldn't possibly get any worse. I was wrong :(

Wow, haha... I actually enjoyed it.
Why does that disturb me somewhat?

Funny enough, Sci Fi USA followed the midnight airing with the real ending of SG-1, Mobeus Pt I and II. Just clench your ass cheeks together and think of better times.

My thoughts exactly. Did they sit around thinking "Gee, what should we do with the last 8 episodes of the season" and came up with this?

I suppose the only thing we can hope for is that they're saving the budget for a spectacular last episode. That has to be it. Right? Anyone? Please someone give me hope...

This episode reminds me of how unethical these guys are, they're evil compared to sg1 :P Teyla's failing in her job as Daniel.

i thought it wasnt that bad an episode.

gave the a chance for woolsey to shine as i can't see him doing anything else but argue his way out of a paper bag.

also some people dont relize that they had already wrote and filmed this episode before they knew they were getting cancelled so they didnt do it thinking this was there last few episode's so lets remind people of what happen in atlantis before its ended

    WTF was that?
Booo! I figured it was a clip show when I thought of the episode title and that there were only two actors listed in "Guest Starring". Then I saw a dreaded long list of "Excerpts Written By" and knew there would be trouble.

Now Stargate has done decent weaving of clip show episodes - even the very first "Politics" worked in a way that fed into the main story arc. SG:A itself has had good use of clips as well - think "Letters from Pegasus". This though was not a good example - a court-room setup that was very uninspired, overseen by a trio of bland characters. None of them had say the passion of Senator Kinsey when he went after the SGC 12 years ago. Even the regular actors seemed bored with this one, except for Robert Picardo who again showed what a worthy addition he was. Plus joke about the Federation...

Frustrating that this is one of the last episodes, even though they didn't realise at the time as Thor rightly points out. Still, it's two weak episodes in a row and I really hope we've something meatier next week.

22 episodes right? I know ep 100 is scheduled as a knock your socks off serious episode and that the 2nd to last is meant to be the last laugh.

SGA seasons have always been 20 episodes long, this season is no different:

Not sure this counts as a spoiler, but just to be on the safe side:
They've also confirmed that the main story will wrap up in a movie (SG-1 style) sometime next year, so the last episode is probably going to be a massive cliffhanger...
