Okay, so I know this girl for a week or two, me and two other guys went out drinking with her on Wednesday ( new UCD pals) she is very friendly. We were all quite merry but she said to me in general conversation that " your are such a cutie '' in the bar. i really like her, she has got a great personality and look. I was just wondering if I should follow up on this comment ie ask her out or should I leave it as she was quite but not totally drunk. I think I should mention that she is quite touchy and feely to the other guy too.

so should I leave it because her comments me nothing because it was only cutie and quite drunk or should I leave it because if she turns me down it will make college quite awkward or just go for it.

Could mean anything to be honest.

BUT and it's a big but, it was a positive statement which is a good thing so where's the harm in asking her out?

    Just do it.

Ucd is quite big so you might not know her in a year anyways so you have nothing to loose.

i think i may be out of her league

    Thats Cowards talk.

Ask her to the cinema, For a drink,

"hi.. Emmm... do, you, emmm like emmm do you want to go to the emmm, cinema"

that isnt going to win any battles

    my advice.
    1. Grow a pair
    2. Stop that "out of her league" talk
    3. Ask her out.

At least you'll know and you won't be beating yourself up about it.

Even if she doesn't say yes trust me when I say you will feel so much better knowing!

The more you question it the more awkward you are going to seem.

    Go for it.

She could just be a little slutty when tipsy, perhaps she was doing all that to get the 3rd guys attention. She could just be a big tease. She could be the best thing ever for you. Who knows really, there are any number of permutations. The more you think about it or worry about it the harder it gets. And the more confused you get. But if she said your cute and you got well, then you know what end of the spectrum things land

Even if it's very hard for you, you should really ask her out asap, straight up. Ring or in person. How'ya doing etc, I was wondering would you like to go to <wherever> sometime. A few drinks or some activity where you can talk is better than the cinema. If she's into you great if not well you can move on easier.

I wish I practiced this myself a few years earlier.

Cheers guys, keep the advice coming from any point of view ie do or dont do it and any past experiences.

For the love of God stop posting here and go and find something to ask her to go and do tommorrow.

May I suggest the zoo if you live in Dublin or Fota Island if you are in Cork. Fantastic first date material, millions of conversation starters and distractions for awkward silences.

I have acted on this kind of feeling plenty times, sometimes with "bad" results, mostly good and some excellent. Learned something from all of them.

Also there was boobs numerous times.:pac::pac::D:pac::pac:
