It stings. If you bruise easily then you will bruise!

it does sting but usually adrenaline will help the pain! now getting shot down stairs is a different story- if you want to protect anywhere, thats the place!!

There is a paintballing forum yaknow.

You don't really feel it at the time though, your all hoped up on adrenalin.

    Hmmmm - You bruise easily?

    - Use your bayonet; if in any doubt, gut them and just be prepared to apologise to their next of kin later......

    Ah it's good fun

There are rules like you're not allowed to shoot someone if there a metre or two away from you. So that'll help

It'll sting for a second or two, just make sure you keep the overalls that they give you covering as much skin as possible. It'll hurt a lot more if you get shot on bare skin or your hand if you don't have gloves.

Just try not to get hit and then it wont hurt.

Just remember you're only allowed to hit someone with the butt of the gun if you're out of paintballs and the marshall hasn't blown the double whistle. It does take two lives off the other team so if you can get close enough it's worth it for points.

    Otherwise though it's a foul.

When I go paintballing I always run outta paintballs. So I take a dump and start pegging it. This only works if you are on the brown team.. or yellowy green after a curry..

It only hurts if you stick the paintball gun up your ass. Speaking from experience, dont try that.

The idea is to not get hit, so a bit of pain is a good reminder about what your actually supposed to be doing. Running around in the middle of the enemy team screaming like a girl not to be shot is not a good tactic if you don't like getting shot.

Ya cos no group of people follow rules better then young people with automatic weapons and an abundance of adrenaline! you'll be fine
    ;)

Wear clothes that are loose fitting and baggy - it'll help absorb the impact. (If they provide you with camo gear get it a size bigger than normal). Stick on a long sleeved t-shirt underneath. If you have a pair of
old light gloves wear them as shots to the back of the hand can sting.

I was once shot from about 20 feet away in my uncovered neck. Hurt like hell.

Even more reason then, being a man will toughen her up a bit.

It'll hurt your wallet more than anythin else, you can fairly flake through ammo if ur not careful.

the place i did it (frontier, i think) had special protective gloves for bout 6 euro. well worth it, the hands will more than likely take a good few shots and they'll sting like hell without protection

I got hit in the color bone from about 10 feet and it broke the skin, adrenalin kicks in so you don't feel it till the next day. Great craic tho!

One of the lads we went with went up to someone and puit the barrel between his cheeks and fired, he dropped to the ground and as you can imagine was less the impressed with the whole situation lol... He later got his own back with a point black shot to the nuts, the guy started crying.

Wouldn't wish that on anyone but it was hilarious!

I was lying down in really long grass situated on a hill, So i was taking snipe shots and then crawling backwards to get cover when they started shooting back, Being hit is like a small sting...Just use stealth and cover.

So there I was, hiding behind a tree engaged in a stand off with my sworn enemy whom, incidently, was also taking refuge behind a tree.

With adreneline flying around my body, I could feel my heart beating as I expertly jumped from cover, let off a round or two and ducked back into safety.

For one final time, I stepped out to paint my adversary like a wall. Unfortunetly, he too choose this moment and let off a round first. Time slowed down and I could see the yellow paintball flying through the air, everything else a blue as it started to get larger and larger.

    BLAM.

It hit the tip of my thumb. The pain that surged through my cursed pollex was incredible. It was completely numb, yet throbbing. It felt like it was on fire, yet freezing. I swore, shouted and ran. Unfortunetly, as I ran through the forest clutching my thumb for dear life, I came across three other opponents who let rip into my mid section.

Still, it wasn't as bad as the pain in my thumb. I'll never forget that.
