    I've read here that Peter Marks and Toni & Guy have evenings where you can get your hair highlighted by students for much less than regular price. Can anyone tell me where this is done and how you can sign up, who do you call, what do you say?

    Just phone or drop in and ask what night colour classes are on. Ask if anyone's looking for a model. It usually costs half the salon price.

    does this apply to normal haircuts also?

    mens haircuts specifically? would like to get my haircut in tony&guy but its too expensive to be going there often. half price? im all ears :D

    Yes all salons look for models on which to train their apprentices - and if they have a school of hairdressing they need models there too. Phone and ask, but do it before December since most salons don't have classes in the run up to Christmas.
