It's against both forum and race rules and I am getting bored of locking threads and deleting posts!

From now on it's infractions for those ignoring this. I've stickied until after the race, I'll delete after that.

(edit: I originally said Infarction which may be a little OTT!)

    Isn't that a little harsh? ;)

    (Wikipedia definition of infarction)

Just to update things. Below taken from the Dublin marathon website. Seems pretty definite in terms of anyone looking for late entry.
Marathon organisers would like to stress that under no circumstances will late entries be considered as the deadline for entry was October 6th.

    I dont think it's harsh

There are users reporting posts and complaining both within threads and creating new threads to discuss it. A couple are starting to backseat Mod over it and it has the potential over teh next couple of days to really p*ss people off.

It's also against the charter. It's against the rules of teh race. There are several locked threads on the 1st page for anyone who looks for them and now a block caps stickie warning about the consequences.

So if - after all that - someone is STILL dumb enough to post or start a new thread looking to trade numbers then the least they deserve is an infraction (infraction isn't a ban, it's a yellow card to stop being a muppet)

[edit] just followed your link :o . That sounds much more sutable than the Infractions we get to give out!

The first time I heard the word, was from a Northern doctor. With his accent, I thought he was saying "infection". :D
