MARCIANO vs. ALI

    Was watching Rocky Balboa last night they were doing the bit with the computer fight. mentioned the ali-marciano fight. Me and the lads started to really get into it on who'd win. So I'm throwing it out there. No arguing, no moaning, just state who and why,WHO DO YOU THINK WOULD WIN: MARCIANO OR ALI

    Ali would jab and dance untill rocky dropped due to exhaustion of chasing shadows, rocky would have a punchers chance-thats all.

    Ali - easily.

    Rocky wouldn't get within an ass's roar of him. He'd be picked off by the faster, more skilful, smarter and bigger man. If nothing else Ali's footwork alone would make it an awful matchup for Marciano.

    I don't even think he has a puncher's chance as Ali had a fantastic chin.
    Rocky's excellent conditioning and heart would keep driving him on, but I see a very, very wide points win or late stoppage (cuts or accumulation) in Ali's favour.

    I woul dselect Ali too, but it wouldn't be all that easy. Rocky is often underrated; and some think he is overrated. It's a strange call with him.
    One thing is for sure and that is; he has a punchers chance, despite Ali's great chin. He was deceptively defensive and awkward and threw from all angles, was damn tough and was relentless. Ali is made earn this win!
