Its gone a bit strange to say the least.

When I start-up it takes an age for all the desktop icons to load, the wallpaper comes up first no problems.

Once they do I then get a ZA popup saying:

"ZoneAlarm is initializing" or something similar.

Ive run Avast and it found two viruses and deleted them, I ran Spybot S&D and it found nothing.

Any suggestions? Im posting this from my another PC as my own is so sluggish its unusable.

    Is it tripping balls?

Try start up in safe mode, and run your AV scans from there instead.

    I'll try that.

After the ZA popup Im then getting

"Your system is low on virtual memory. Windows is increasing the size of your virtual memory paging file. During this process, memory requests for some applications may be denies. For more information see Help"

How much RAM is installed in your computer? A simple RAM upgrade may sort the performance issue and may not be virus related!
