    A. Fart. Near her. A lot, or....
    B. Ask her can she quiet down, youre trying to work, or
    C. Both of the above.

So you want to try to make someone quit because you find them annoying?

    A few things you may want to consider in this situation;
    - you are never going to get along with everyone you work with and the sooner you accept that and learn to cope with that the easier your working life will be.

    - the chances of someone leaving their current job in this climate are very slim.

    - a campaign to force someone out because you don't like them is essentially a bullying campaign. Bullying is taken very, very seriously by most companies these days and if you decide to go down this road because you are unable to get along with someone, don't be surprised if you are the one that will be leaving the company.

My advice, be an adult. Ask her to lower her tone if she is preventing you from carrying out your work. Failing that, speak to your supervisor about the issue.

Trying to force someone to quit is childish, petty and ultimately will damage you.

Ask your manager is there a quieter area you can sit in. Don't mention names, just explain that your desk is quite noisy and you find it difficult to concentrate. If they ask for specifics, suggest they pop by your desk from time to time.

Under no circumstances mention the word "obnoxious".

knock her up, that way she's bound to miss a bit of work.

Or, be adult about it and learn how to interact with her.

The other suggestions seem to be a bit sensible and don't really tell you how to get rid of her.

When she goes away from her computer (provided she has one) go onto dodgy sites on the net or youtube or whatever and look up creeepy stuff. Then cross your fingers that IT will cop this and the boss will have a word with her. She'll totally deny it then it could end up getting worse for her and who knows...

Sure there's plenty of ways but you could just ask her to be quieter EVERY single time she speaks, she should get the message...

    I had the same issue:

Undertake some discreet investigation as to what others think. If she is genuinely annoying, others will no doubt concur, and HR will have an idea too. Ask to be moved. Say your performance and morale is being affected. Be careful not to make it seem like dislike or a personality clash though. Don't have a row with her, or criticize her openly to others.

Have to say though, I was lucky because the colleague wasn't on my team, and many other people were aware of it because of the sheer scale of the disturbance, so I was allowed to move elsewhere.

Why not give more info? And no, there isn't a way to make a person leave... Jesus.

Making them quieten down - possible, and a bit more reasonable.

Here's a bit moer info on a previous post I made. It's a small business and there is no HR dept.

The best one I have heard of is to keep telling the person that they are underpaid. I know a guy who has gotten rid of several colleagues by telling them constantly that they are not being paid a fraction of their true worth and with their skills and ability they should be commanding a much higher salary.
The suckers always seem to fall for it. He cannot be accused of harassment because he makes it seem like he is their friend.
