News Application?

Hi, My brother told me that he has some World News application (something like the News Channel on the Wii) on his PS3 since he upgraded to 2.50. He said its under the Internet Browser on the XMB. I don't have this. Does anyone else have it or is my brother just drunk?

I presume he is referring to the new Folding@Home application called "Life with Playstation", which has world globe with news bites based in all the major cities worldwide.
