I Tunes on Vista

    Just wondering how can i get itunes to work on vista 32bit edition?

    Every time i try open it it does not respond. I know they have had problems with vista but is there any way around it?

    What version of Itunes are you trying to use? If it's an old one, maybe try a more recent one.

    Its the latest version, itunes 8 i think.

    There has since been 8.0.1, so try downloading a fresh copy. Uninstall all the Apple components installed just to be sure.

    Tanx but it still dont work. After install it says itunes has stopped responding and cant find a solution

    Try re-registering javascript [regsvr32 jscript.dll], then reinstalling iTunes.

    Nope, just re-register it: type regsvr32 jscript.dll into the command prompt (run as administrator). Takes 2 seconds. It's worth a try.

    javascript has nothing to do with java. They're entirely different things that have a similar name.
