Is it possible to cancel a DELL laptop before it's delivered?

    Hello

    I thought I had busted my laptop (spilt a bottle of champage over it!) but it's magically working again.

    I currently have a DELL laptop on order - does anyone know if I can cancel this order?

    PS I know I could just ring them, but I'm wondering what your experiences are of this!

    Even if its too late to cancel the order, you can still send it back for a period after receiving it.

    Under EU law, there's the distance goods cooling off period, but regardless of that, Dell also have their own return policy, sending something back that you don't like/want isn't a problem (21 days I think, not 100% about that).

    Just ring up and cancel - however, if the order has left the factory, then you have to refuse delivery and wait for the payment to be refunded.

    If you purchased as a private consumer you've seven days after you receive it to return it for a refurnd (they can charge a collection fee).
