Opinions on a name/naming contest

I am going to manufacture my own brand of hand grippers as Captains of Crush are just too expensive for what they are...
Any suggestions welcome infact if you suggest a name not on the poll and I go with it you can have a full set of grippers when I get them.

You should call them Admirals of Crush, try and cash in on the captains brand recognition and make them seem like a higher class. (I'll try and come up with a proper name later...)

Everyone knows it's not a truly hardcore workout product unless you put a big number that people will have trouble counting to, like "3000", and a big X at the end. It implies mystique and technological nous.

Problem with that is when you tell people they're called Gecko Grips you have to launch into the explanation as they stand looking at you like you've lost your senses.

If they were called Animal grips would it mean animals use them, or beast grips, or any of the suggested names, would it be less slightly off the mark though? If there was a very cool lizard graphic /logo on it, and the name is catchy enough, I don't think a lot of the people who use them would stop to ponder the meaning behind it all. But you're entitled to your view :P If push came to shove he could just say "cos gekkos can walk on ceilings, look, look, a squirrel..."

I'm afraid a lot of common combinations are probably gone, just check google, they also call those leather things gymnasts wear on their hands "grips", and you can get bulldog grips online.http://www.american-gymnast.com/catalog/index_4_26.cfm

Dunno if the names are copyrighted or how it works. I expect people snap up names similar to cybersquatting.
