Laptop, Vista Help!

    Want to get a new laptop, the one I have is getting to the end of its life.. Can anyone reccommend a good one? Don't need it for graphics. Also, I have windows xp now.. would anyone have any ideas on whether Vista is any better or worth it?

    Nah, he wants a good laptop, Mac rip you off royally. Something like a vostro would do him well.

    Macs = awesome laptops. If you are willing to spend the money they're worth it. And just updated so they are safe for about 6 months. Unless you really want to play games on your laptop they're a good bet. None of those stinky viruses, BSOD or Vista. OSX is by far the best OS around.

    Macs = sturdier, more stable, easier to use, virus free, worth every penny. If you not a gamer then a Mac is best option
