Is it an offence to send illegal items through the postal system? (Specifically counterfeit software). I am in a paypal/ebay dispute and despite informing paypal about the illegal nature of the goods, they are compelling me to return the items by registered post before even considering a refund. I am in a paypal/ebay dispute and despite informing paypal about the illegal nature of the goods, they are compelling me to return the items by registered post before even considering a refund.

Im pretty uncomfortable with this, I was under the impression that it was an offence to use the postal system to send illegal items, regardless of the circumstances. Am i correct/incorrect?
