Five on Freesat soon?

Any news re introduction of channels 5 group on freesat or any new hd channels got a humax hd and am really satisfied waiting eagerly for new channels particularly pleased with its ability to up grade it self .

The latest with five is that it will become FTA by the end of the year (November is being mooted a lot).

Hovever its sibling channels (five US and fiver) are not expected to become FTA.

Discussion underway over on DigitalSpy.
According to posts five ends its encryption contract with Sky, 31st October 2008 and will begin broadcating FTA from Astra 2D the first week in Nov possibly from the BBC's 10.773H transponder.
It could appear on freesat in conjunction with the official launch of Humax's freesat+ PVR at the What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision Show from 31st October – 2nd November.

Got to list Five, Fiver and FiveUSA but none are available to watch?
I get the programme name / details and a blue screen.

Will try and fool around later.

Take a look at post 5 and use those settings. The channel will be called 6335.
