Im sure there will be plenty of streams knocking around to view it online. There was last year anyways. Keep an eye out here for em..

its going to be pay per view i'm nearly sure...same as the last two years only that it will be semi live so to speck.

If you have never watched the final table of the WSOP live make sure you do all in your powers to find a stream.

If you have watched it before, you know that you'll never watch it again, omg IT'S SOOOOOOOOOO BORING. Watch it last year with a load from here on chat, a typical hour would be.
    Phil Gordan talking sh!te.
    Some one else talking sh!te.
    Antes put out.
    Blinds put out.
    Fold.
    Fold.
    Raise.
    Chips counted by tournament director.
    Fold.
    Fold.
    Fold.
    Fold.
    Chips stacked by tournament director.
    Repeat.

Every once in a while you'd have someone spend 10 minutes trying to decide whether to call Jerry Yang

Yep, it was a bit of craic, plenty of FTW comments etc.

So has the re-scheduling of the ME worked? its been very low key over here, does anyone know how the marketing/advertising went in the states ?

woudl'nt it make more sense to watch the 2 hour edit espn are showing the following night? I've watched the final table the past two years and although its good to watch live....my god its soooooo boring, especially with Phil Gordon talking crap the whole way through.

I'll hide away from boards November 9th and 10th and watch the edit on the 11st me thinks.

Ivan Demitov must have a great chance, appears to be playing very well. Came 3rd recently in the WSOPE in London. 2nd in chips.

    Dennis Phillips 1 $26,295,000
    Ivan Demidov 7 $24,400,000
    Scott Montgomery 4 $19,690,000
    Peter Eastgate 9 $18,375,000
    Ylon Schwartz 3 $12,525,000
    Darus Suharto 5 $12,520,000
    David Rheem 6 $10,230,000
    Craig Marquis 2 $10,210,000
    Kelly Kim 8 $2,620,000

yes i would be going for demidov also. 9/2 best price on boyles.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,055 ✭✭✭Four of a kind

Chino Rheem is my bet. He was at 10/1 just after the final table was formed...don't know what he is now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,141 ✭✭✭ocallagh

David (Chino) Rheem is a very decent LAG and IMO the best player at the table. He has a tendency to spew chips... but that was after a lot of cooler hands against the most annoying player I've seen. If he gets average luck he could run over the table

I have Eastgate and stand to win 800 took him from 2 tables out although with Demidovs final table in the WSOPE he is worth a bang also.

i was under the impression there is no PPV coverage this year cause ESPN are showing it so close to the event

Played with Eastgate in the 07 IO when he finished 9th -took a shocker AIPF AA v QK for most of his chips- I tipped him in the wsop thread about 400 players out, he is a quality player. The 6s available on betfair looks decent. An interest in Craig Marquis at 14s is also appealing to me having listened to him on the 2+2 podcast

Well after meeting him,I hope he does well, and as a pool fan even though for the last couple of years I know we're not gonna beat united,I can't possibly sit in front of my tv and watch that match after backing against LFC.

Ya think so he was involved in 2 big hands with AQ one the opponent had kings on a Q high flop and the other aipf against QQ think he four flushes to take the hand!

He talks a bit about it here pages 6 and 8! he doesnt give much thought on his reasoning for the obv reasons.
