    Hi guys,
I'm new to boards, but was recomended to it.
I'm running Dublin next Monday (or hope to) and was hoping one of you could recomend a good Physio or Physical Therapist. Been training since the summer, but in the last week have a real bad groin issue. Would love to get it seen to by a professional, but don't know any :(
Appreciate anything, thanks. Would hate to miss out.
    Tx

Don't know where D15 is but theres an excellent woman out on sundrive road, Elaine Ahern, she saved my Berlin marathon hopes. 014907067
try her but I'd say most physios could be booked solid with DM

Went to this place in Parnell Square last summer. I think she's a sports therapist rather than a physio or physical therapist but I was happier with the treatment than I've been with most physios I've ben to.

That ad is from last summer so I couldn't be sure she's still there but worth a try I'd say.

Hey there - I would reccommend the "Sports & Spine Physiotherapy" just near camden st phone number 014543335. I've been there for my back & shin splint problems and my bad left knee in the last few years and they are deadly. Have at least one physio there who worked regularily with the Irish olympic rowing team, so they're pretty cool.

The Dublin Physiotherapy clinic is out there as well (Ballycoolin). I've been to them and would recommend them.

I live in D15 and went to the Annamoe Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic earlier this year with a calf strain and found them really good. As you're going into town (by Stoneybatter), take a left at Hanlons corner and they're nearby.

Even got a call back off them about a month later to check that I was still doing ok!

    Check out:
    http://www.sportssurgeryclinic.com/
I had to go there last week and they were excellent.

And don't worry, yes they do Physio and no, they won't necessarily have to operate!!

Go to Ciaran in Dundrum: 086 367 3654.

Used to be a professional runner himself and does physio for the Irish athletics team (and the Olympic team). Knows what he's doing and a really nice guy. Decent price too.

Knows what he's doing is an understatement there. He managed to correctly diagnose an injury I had for 9 months (3 physios and a doctor had got it wrong) just by getting me to stand on one foot!

Cost me €55 for the session which lasted about a half hour.

That falls into the expensive bracket in my book. I saw this guy in the UK and he was £20 for half an hour... quite the impressive CV!

Ciaran will spend an hour with you for €60. Seriously. You will not be disappointed if you go see him. My boyfriend is running the marathon on Monday and he just came back from a session with him-singing his praises again.
