Will be in France for the bank holiday weekend (South West nearest big town is Poitiers about 25mins away) and one of the people staying with me only drinks Guinness. Which is not a problem when we are out as there are 2 Irish bars in Poitiers but I cant recall ever seeing Guinness for sale in any of the supermarkets, does anybody know if it can be bought in the supermarkets?? There are quite a few of the bigger ones close by?

Champion and Monoprix usually stock Guinness. They're both nationwide chains so I'm sure if it's stocked in their branches in Nice and Paris, you'll be able to get it in your neck of the woods.

I'm sure though that if push comes to shove, he'll drink anything put in front of him.
