    Hi Guys,
Basically I have a load of old coins given to be by my granda and waas looking at identifying one of them in particular. I thought it was going to be older than i thought but its not unfortunately.
    http://www.ringramcoins.com/english_coins_antique_coins_catalogue.shtml

I think its this one here but the quality of my one is no where near the quality of this one. Its nearly worn completely,. you can still make out the face of that guy and your woman on the other side. You cant seen the date very clearly but a mate of mine was able to make out 799 on a hyperspectral scanner, that turned out to be 1799 (awww!!)

I was just thinking, is this worthless because its so badly worn, or would it be worth selling it on to someone would have an interest in it??

    any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Neil
