Where you a part of the Irish Beat Generation? If you were maybe you could tell me what it was like.
Where did people go to read and write and to listen to recitals?
    Did it exist?

I am making a documentary about this period of irish literature and would love to hear some stories from people who were there or who have knowledge about it.

Irish Slam poetry is pretty good. I know it's not the right era, but it's worth taking a look at if only for personal entertainment.
