Have'nt posted a pic here in a good while, here is a shot I took 2 weeks ago, from the Cape Of Good Hope South Afriaca. This is straight out of the camera, only crop, sharpen and border. Shot with a 24-70mm using a polarizer.

    Wow.
The bird on the buffalo is the icing on the cake, and both heads turned (did you whistle to get their attention?). Kind of thing you'd expect to see in National Geographic, well done.

Do you know in the first one if you crop'd out the land underneath, the sky actually looks like a cross sea. Very nice really.

The duck is fantastic ,... but buffalo2.jpeg is the best for me.

You can see the Buff's charachter and personality written all over the photograph.
They have short tempers those guys , and narky with age :)

    any more dig?

By Christ on a stick, top notch every one. Pin sharp and fantastic bokeh, serious lens deployed.

I like the way you crop the buffalo shots (if you did crop that is, frankly looking at these photos I wouldn't be surprised to learn you have a 'pixel-perfect composition' superpower :D), the horns give great symmetry to the shot, yet in synergistic juxtaposition is the colossal torso towering menacingly out of frame. Awesome.

What Odd-Job said, I saw those narky buffalo on a few documentaries, not to be toyed with even though slag-worthy with a petrified brain sitting on top of their heads. Always remind me of James Brown.
