Any Freesat HD experts?

I'm going to build a PC with a Hauppage HVR4000 card in it that can apparently handle Freesat / HD signals.

From what I've read because I'm not going to be using an 'official' Freesat HD box to get the channels I won't be able to get the Freesat EPG or any of the red button features.

Red button I'm not that bothered about, but the EPG is necessary.

Given that this PC will be running Vista MCE, does anyone know if it's possible to get a different EPG that will work with whatever channels I can get through the Freesat system?

And lastly, if I get Freesat HD, I know there are only 2 HD channels in the mix, but do I get access to all the other Freesat channels as well? 2 HD is fine for now but I'd need all the others to make it worth while.

    THanks!

You can extract the Freesat EPG data to xmltv with the right software.

    1) Record the PIDs 0x0bbb and 0x0bba to a single file for approx 30 secs on 11428, H, 27500 with TSReader or equivalent package.

    2) Load the file into Freesat EPG Parser and export to xmltv.

What's the best software to use to view TV. I have the same card as chabsey and it came with power cinema but that appear to be a piece of crap. Any recommendations???

    DVBViewer is pretty solid.
