Septic Tank

Question about the location of a septic tank....

I am in the process of buying a house in Monaghan. The house is a new build and has been built over a year. When we got the original planning permission, we found that the septic tank and Perc. area have been placed in a different location then on the plans. The place it is makes a lot more sense... the original plans had it in the middle of the front lawn. Is this in contrevention of the planning permission? Does it need to be moved to comply, or can we leave it where it is?

We cant get a straight answer from anybody.

    Thanks,
    Domer
