    Hi,

My MBP won't start after a dvd made it freeze :(

I put in DVD, MBP froze and i had to hold down power key to restart, ever since i have apple logo and loading spinner.

I tried booting from Leopard cd but that won't work either.

    Help

When you are booting from the Op System DVD are you holding down the "C" button?

Yeah booting from install cd holding down c key.

The macintosh HD icon was not appearing in the destination window to do a new install.

I called apple and we spent an hour going through every option and its looking like the HD is ****ed. Sending it off on Monday

    Sounds like it.

If you know your stuff, they are easy enough to replace.
