Does any know if there is any way around the 7 day residency period required for Irish residents intending to marry in England? Due do work commitments we won't be able to spend a week over there, we only found out about this law today and we need to register there in the next few weeks.

Has anyone tried going over for a day and then back again the week after?

Any advice appreciated
