Morning's Sun

    I saw her for the first time yesterday,
    the pale moon glow illuminating a halo.
    Her glowing features stand stark against the darkness;
    An image I'll ne'er be able to forget.
    Her movements seem swan-like; so graceful and sweet.
    A hand presses against my cheek;
    so soft that it feels like air.
    Her hair blowing in an unidentifiable breeze
    and eyes that glitters like the cosmos.
    For an instant time freezes.
    A Heaven unkown to Man

    And then in a moment she's gone.
    Left in a void of shimmering light.
    I awake in my bed confused and alone.
    The pillow next to my head untouched.
    I lay for a moment and curse the morning's sun.

    I like the "an unidentifiable breeze"
