    Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a hard gun case of the longer variant to accommodate my AEG, GBB, Cylinders, mags and second (SR-25 length) upper set as well as a slew of attachments and change-able items (sights, scopes, inner barrels, outer barrel extensions, etc.).

It needs to have that foam stuff interior that you can cut out in the shapes of what you want to have held in it.

    Can anyone suggest one?

See if dex can poach an industrial flight case for you! (Or buy one, but dont look at the price if you're faint-hearted:p)

how much you got to spend? lol i came across an irish company and they have cases with 2 layers of precut foam cubes that you could remove to fit your exact item, was about 350-400 me thinks though.

    Perfect!

That was about what I was expecting to pay anyway.
Has anyone come across less costly ones?

i was looking into them about 3 weeks ago, i think i have 2 or 3 irish compants bookmarked but they are at home on the desktop. can send you info late on sunday after the gathering. but that company seems to be the best. gonna get them closer to berget. that company will also do custom cuts if you give them dimensions

Why not just get a strike systems case?
I have one and can comfortably fit any of my aegs plus a sub and pistol.

yeh, they have foam as well, the spikey stuff that just grabs a hold of whatever you put in it when you close it...no need for cutting or re-arranging of foam blocks.

    nakedhedgehog,

are you planning to take this case overseas and entrusting it to airlines and the like for transport? If you want to take a look at mine, let me know when next you'll be up at hrta and I'll see about turning up with it.

You could try look into music instrument travel cases? One made for a bass or keyboard would hold a good bit of kit and could cut the costs? havent looked into the prices of them in awhile since i got mine :pac: (course, you would have to refit the interior with foam in most cases as i doubt you have a guitar shaped aeg... although that would be really cool..)

    Airsoft AEG + Guitar= Air-guitar:D

You might just be on to something there.
