C Licence test

    I'll be applying for a theory C licence test soon and was wondering what sort of extra questions would come up? Are the any changes that have taken place or will take place in the future regarding HGV driving I should know about?

    How long generally are the wait times for C licence tests?

    There's about 60 pages of specific questions relating to trucks in the Official Theory Test book.

    For the C test it is worth getting the theory test book and the CD....that way you can practice the rules of the road from the CD and learn the Q&A on the C class seperately.....you'd probably get by with the CD but it is handy to have access to all the questions fro the C Class

    Also check out the RSA website http://www.rsa.ie/SERVICES/RSA_Services/CPC_Unit.html regarding the new requirement for HGV drivers to complete a cpc course.....comes into effect sept 2009 for Lorries....
