I had surgery done on my nose due to a fracture sustained during a sports activity. I'm not satisfied with the results. While the nose as a whole is reasonably straight the bridge has a lump on it. Before this thread is closed I'm not looking for medical advice. I would, however, like to know what people know about bone fractures and how the heal.
So when a fracture occurs does a lump of bone form around the fracture?
Does this lump or callous eventually reduce in size?
Is the information provided here accurate?

    1.Yes
2.To an uncertain extent yes. You will get swelling and lump where periosteal reaction and callus formation occurs. However there are too many variables.
3.Seems allright to me, long time since I did basic science
