Cystic Acne on Shoulders

I'm 22. I think I've been to the doctor 3 times in the last 6 years with mild acne. The most recent was last January when he prescribed me 6 months antibiotics. He also referred me to a dermatologists. I got the dermatologist appointment for June. When the time came I realised that I was going to be in Spain on the date of that appointment. My skin was fine at the time so I just canceled it.

I went to Spain and came back for the first time in the best part of 10 years without a single spot, because of the sun. 4 months on though and my acne is as bad as its ever been. I've had to book another dermatologist appointment which won't be until February. As it is though the acne on my shoulders is just getting worse. Big ugly sore spots which are spreading to my upper arms, chest and neck.

While I'm waiting until February to be seen, what would be the best thing to do to treat my skin? My face is controllable but there doesn't seem to be anything stopping the acne on my shoulders.

Luckily my cystic acne doens't spread to my shoulder, stays to my face and neck but I do sometimes get the odd red lump, need to leave it alone!

There's alot of things to think about, the type of skin you have, especially for guys if you have a hairy or semi hairy back you can have a combination of folliculitis and acne.

OP, I would go to the dermatologist, what harm can it do!

I said in the below thread about acne about the line of all natural products I use. They're pricey but SO worth it.

is the link to the acne section, click on the gallery and see the before and afters. The products also help with scarring. If you want any more info, feel free to PM me!
