    Hey,

I am quite new to Dublin, have been here for few months, and would like to know which is the right time in the year for shopping? When doe we have sale for summer wear, autumn winter wair and monoon wear? I was quite excited to see sale in August when the prices were unbelievablely low, but unfortunately, i wasn't aware of when does the sale starts, it was that just once i was in St Steven's Green and noticed all the shops had massive sales, but by that time, all s amd m sizes were gone, all that was left was l and xl sizes. So I want to make it up with autumn winter sale, if anyone there can provide me with the information asked for. And aslo somebody local person told me that just as new year arrives from 2nd January there is again massive sale, is it true/

    Thanks

The main sales take place during June and right after Christmas i.e. the 26th/27th December onwards.

However, shops are holding sales at other times throughout the year due to the falling economy. The latest is the "Autumn Sale". Other retailers hold hold sales when they want - for instance Marks and Spencer seem to have regular 50% sales throughout the year.

Just keep your eyes open for sale signs.
