Possibility of grants for insulating existing home?

Hi, My parents are thinking of pumping the cavity on their home to increase the insulation. I was wondering if there was a possibility of grants being introduced in the near future for this? Also in a 1300 sq ft rectangular bungalow what price would you be looking at? Thanks

Also in a 1300 sq ft rectangular bungalow what price would you be looking at?

I would say this is very likely
The scheme is called the Home energy savings scheme and is being administered by SEI. They ran a pilot scheme this year and as a result the funding for next year has increased times 4. This will be offered sometime early next year.

Now THIS is where the funding should ALL be going .

wood pellet boilers , solar panels , heat pumps should no longer be subsidised by SEI grants

I agree with your principle however i think the grants on wood pellet boilers , solar panels , heat pumps were introduced to highlight other technologies to a market place which can be very resistant to change.
